What to Wear:

Warm layers, gloves and hats. Wool socks and sturdy shoes are helpful. Nights can be very cold. Bring a flashlight. We will provide red cellophane covers to protect your night vision.

    • A classroom presentation on Saturn followed by observation of Saturn and more. This program is limited to 20 persons and reservations are required.   • Thursday, 8/11/2016 - Perseids Event
    Time: 9 PM - 12 Midnight
    • RFO will be open this night for observing the Perseid Meteor Shower. Note that a 65% gibbous moon will wash out the meteors until after it sets around 1:20am. So the best viewing will be between 1:30am and 5:00am.
