By Qualified Charitable Distribution from your IRA:
If you are 70\u00bd or older you can donate all or part of your Required Minimum Distribution
(RMD) directly to a qualifying charity and have that donation satisfy your RMD without it
being counted as taxable income. Instruct your IRA administrator to send the funds
directly to VMOA; you cannot first withdraw the money and then donate it yourself to get
the tax benefit. Remember to donate to Valley of the Moon Observatory Association,
