When the nights grow longer… the skies get spookier! Celebrate Halloween under the stars at Spooky Skies, a frightfully fun evening of cosmic chills and celestial thrills at the Robert Ferguson Observatory!

Event Overview:

As darkness falls over Sugarloaf Ridge State Park, our astronomers will guide you through eerie tales of the night sky, ghostly nebulae, vampire stars, and mysterious cosmic phenomena that are stranger than fiction.

Peer through our telescopes for a hauntingly beautiful view of the Moon, planets, and distant galaxies shimmering in the autumn sky. Come in costume if you dare! There will be treats, spooky science activities, and fun for all ages!

So grab your red flashlight, bundle up, and join us for an out-of-this-world Halloween celebration that’s more wonder than fright, but just a little bit spooky.

Family-friendly event. Costumes encouraged but not required!
